For the first time, starting this year, every third Thursday in May is University Accessibility Day, with the aim of strengthening institutional policies on accessibility, inclusion, and human rights.

This time, the meeting will take place next Thursday, May 15th at 12 noon in the Ricardo Suárez Hall of the UNR Government Headquarters, where the Human Rights Area, through the Inclusion and Accessibility Directorate and the Center for Inclusive Design (CEDIN), together with the Rector, Mr. Franco Bartolacci, will carry out the signing of an Agreement between the Deans of the different academic units and the Directors of the Pre-University Schools, within the framework of an institutional commitment to support the University Accessibility Day.

There will also be recognition and certificates awarded to students and graduates (from 2024 to the present) who participated in valuable accessibility initiatives aimed at raising awareness and promoting the rights of people with disabilities, based on their educational journeys or social practices.
