For the first time, UNR will recognize students who are the protagonists of academic initiatives and social practices in terms of rights

The appointment is next Tuesday, December 10 at 11:30 a.m. in the Ricardo Suárez Hall of the UNR Government Headquarters, where the Human Rights Area together with the Rector of the UNR, Lic. Franco Bartolacci, will give a distinction to students who participate in outstanding programs, initiatives or actions that contribute to the visibility and/or promotion of Human Rights based on their training courses or different interventions and articulations of a social nature.

This proposal is possible thanks to the collaborative work with the UNR Human Rights Academic Council, made up of representatives from the Middle Schools and Colleges; the Otra Vuelta Program, the Educational Social Practices Program and the School of Trades of the Extension and Territory Area.

More than 50 initiatives will be recognized that demonstrate the collective commitment to Human Rights, a fundamental value that characterizes our university community and that translates into concrete actions that reflect the will to build the future with human dignity as our horizon.
