The university community has five complexes dedicated to sports activities: the gym located at Moreno 460, which also has a 25-meter heated swimming pool, the Ciudad Universitaria beach, the Zavalla and Casilda sports centers, and the The Reformation in France 750.
It works together with the Student Centers to carry out sports competitions and also UNR Interfaculty tournaments. Calls are added to participate in competitions at regional and national level. In addition, every year recreational trips are organized to Cerro Champaquí in Córdoba and to the Atuel Canyon in Mendoza.
The Department of Physical Education adapts to the academic calendar of the university, opening its doors from the beginning of February to the end of December.
For those who integrate any of the cloisters of the UNR (Graduates, Students, Teachers or Non-teachers) they must pay a minimum annual fee to be able to access sports activities. The cost of the activities of the weights room and the swimming pool are paid monthly separately.
To use the UNR facilities, it is not necessary to be part of the university community: by paying the annual card and the cost of the monthly fee, you can use the weights room, the swimming pool, take classes in Tai Chi, Yoga, Gymnastics, Tennis Table and Contemporary Dance.
Registrations are made in person at the gymnasium headquarters (Moreno 460) during secretary hours (9 to 14 and 14:30 to 19:30). They may be affected by the pandemic.
