In order to accompany them on the path to entry to the institution and provide them with the necessary training to begin the transition to university life, the course seeks to be present both educationally and personally and emotionally.
The Pre-University Course is common to all UNR Majors and is voluntary for future entrants. This training session is complementary to those organized by each of the Faculties that make up our University.

“Four years ago, for the first time in the history of our University, we launched a common introductory course for admission to all majors and whose primary objective is to accompany in the best possible way those who begin studying in our Faculties this year. that is coming,” explained Rector Franco Bartolacci.
The course will begin on November 6 and is made up of two modules: “University Life” and “Understanding and preparation of academic texts” that will be developed for the most part asynchronously through a website that is easily accessible through different devices.
The “University Life” Module aims to introduce entrants to the basic aspects related to the organization and functioning of the University, its history, the function it plays in society and university citizenship. The module also has content linked to skills for organizing the student's work time, or what has been generically called “cognitive skills” and “critical academic habits” (use of libraries, access to reliable academic information, carrying out documentary searches). , prepare exams, take class notes, synthesize, outline, etc.).
The Module “Comprehension and preparation of academic texts” aims to improve students' production in reading and writing, in order to facilitate textual understanding, promote the identification of relevant information and structure new knowledge about their own writing practices for communication. in academic contexts. It has an introductory synchronous meeting.
