The Pre-University Course is common to all UNR Careers, it is voluntary for future entrants and it is dictated in a virtual mode.

La Universidad Nacional de Rosario will again teach the Pre-University Course intended for 2023 entrants, in order to accompany them on the path to entry to the institution and provide them with the useful and necessary training to begin the transition to university life. Enrollment in the Pre-University Course.

This Pre-University Course is common to all UNR Careers, it is voluntary for future entrants and it is taught in a virtual mode. Also, this instance of training is complementary to those that are organized by each of the Faculties that make up our University.

The course was held between September and November 2022 and consists of three modules: "University life", "Logic for thinking" and "Academic-scientific reading and writing at the University". Here are videos about those courses.

The purpose of the Module "University Life" is to introduce newcomers to the basic aspects related to the organization and functioning of the University, to allow them to know its history and the function it fulfills in society, as well as to provide information about the rights and obligations of students for the exercise of university citizenship.

The Module "Logic for thinking" aims to provide the necessary tools to discern and create logically coherent reasoning through the analysis of everyday and professional life situations. The use of logic allows
determine when reasoning is contradictory or incoherent and when it is correct. Likewise, it is essential to detect bad arguments and helps to communicate conclusions without ambiguities.

The Module of "Academic-scientific reading and writing at the University" aims to promote the development of reading and writing skills that initiate students in the ways of understanding and communicating knowledge in the Career
chosen, since the ways of reading and the ways of writing present particularities in each discipline.

These modules were developed in virtual classrooms, for each Faculty, within Communities of the UNR Virtual Campus. In addition, we have a virtual patio, a space for each Faculty to meet and connect with those who are sharing the
Pre-University Course.
