It will take place from May 6 to 9 at the Spanish Cooperation Training Center in Montevideo, Uruguay. 

The course Opportunities and challenges of Open Science between Europe and Latin America: data and infrastructure at the heart of the ecosystem It is organized by the Center for Energy, Environmental and Technological Research (CIEMAT) of Spain and the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), in collaboration with the Ibero-American Program on Science and Technology for Development (CYTED), ResINFRA Plus, and the CLARA Network. It will take place in person at the Spanish Cooperation Training Center in Montevideo, Uruguay.

This activity is aimed at public institutions, research centers, universities, researchers, and technologists with advanced degrees in any scientific or technological field, as well as vocational training technologists working in the fields of ICT, engineering, or telecommunications that handle data.

Its objective is to strengthen institutional capacities to implement scientific and innovative policies aimed at addressing social challenges based on the fully multidisciplinary nature of the digital transformation, which is applicable to the various Sustainable Development Goals.

It should be noted that Spanish Cooperation will fund participants' accommodation, meals, and internal transportation (airport/hotel – Training Center/hotel) during the activity.
