The AUGM Animal Health Academic Committee launches the 1st regional postgraduate course

The Call for Applications for the 1st regional postgraduate course is now openAnimal Health from a One Health perspective: zoonotic diseases, environment, biosecurity and outbreak epidemiology”, organized by the Academic Committee on Animal Health of the Association of Montevideo Group Universities.

The proposal, which is creditable for postgraduate courses (master's and doctorate), is aimed primarily at university graduates from different courses, who are interested in the area of ​​animal health, public health, epidemiology and biosecurity, graduates of courses from AUGM member universities.

The course will be held online, with lectures by experts in the main thematic areas of the course. Discussion workshops and problem-solving activities are planned and will last a total of 90 hours (48 hours of teaching and 42 hours of preparation and reading).

The course will be held from March to November 2025, divided into two blocks (March to June and August to November) and will be free of charge for those enrolled.

There will be limited places, so each interested party must complete the registration form with the reasons and the importance of choosing to apply for the course. If you are a postgraduate student doing a Master's or Doctorate, include the topic of your thesis.
