Translators Corps
The Corps of Translators was created by Resolution No. 1186/12 as a unit directly associated with the Rector of the University and is unique in its nature and functions in the country. Since 2021 it has been operating under the orbit of the CEI UNR (Res. No. 1185/2021).

:: FUNCTIONS:
- Advise the Rector on issues of translation and translatology, interpretation and interpretology,
- Carry out translations and interpretations, guaranteeing quality in services,
- Issue reports,
- Provide technical assistance in matters of foreign languages in the university environment and with respect to public or private organizations that enter into agreements with this House of Higher Studies,
- Promote and support the internationalization of the UNR,
- Participate in specific academic and scientific projects.
In addition, the Corps carries out undergraduate and postgraduate training activities in translation and interpretation and interdisciplinary and extension activities.
:: REGISTRATION OF EXTERNAL TRANSLATORS AND INTERPRETERS:
Made up of professionals of Arabic, Chinese, Croatian, Danish, French, English, Portuguese, with registration from the College of Translators of the Province of Santa Fe, 2nd Circ., Argentine Sign Language (LSA) and native languages: Guaraní, Mocoví , Quechua and Qom la'aqtac.
They have vast experience, since they have been practicing the profession steadily for several years, and have specialized in specific areas of knowledge, in most cases, or have other academic training. The fees and details of each service are agreed upon directly between the interested academic unit and each professional. The UNR Translator Corps does not make arrangements to collect fees, does not suggest fees or appoint any particular professional to provide any service.
