With the Museum of Memory packed to capacity, the premiere of the interactive documentary CU(AR)ENTA | Memories in Democracy took place .
After a whole year of development and production articulated between the Human Rights Area and the Multimedia Communication Directorate of the Universidad Nacional de Rosario (UNR) “CU(AR)ENTA | Memories in democracy” within the framework of the celebrations for these first 40 uninterrupted years of democracy in Argentina.

This project is structured in 4 360° environments that organize, behind the illustration of a symbolic object chosen by each protagonist, 40 short audiovisual episodes, accompanied by a text about the chosen event and recommendations to other text, audio and video productions for keep thinking.
The first environment is linked to events in the key of Memory, Truth and Justice. The second, groups the achievements around legislation and actions that defended and expanded the rights of our society.
When navigating the third environment we find a representation of the neighborhood, the popular uprisings and iconic initiatives of Rosario. The fourth and last places us in the city, in the struggles in the streets, for health and public education.
The documentary is designed on a basis of regional identity around democratic values and principles, the rights achieved and the outstanding debts in the construction of a more inclusive, fair, free and sovereign country.
Premiere
The beginning of the activity was led by the words of Fernando Irigaray Director of the Multimedia Communication Directorate; Paula Contino, Secretary of the UNR Human Rights Area and Franco Bartolacci, Rector of our University. Then an audiovisual piece was projected that took a tour of the archive from 1983 to 2023 and presented those who gave their testimony.
For 2024 we plan territorial, educational and community actions so that this open, collective, participatory and collaborative proposal can be disseminated to reflect and place Memory as a necessary bridge between the past and the future. Memory as vindication, struggle and resistance but also as a space where desire is housed to illuminate human hope.
