The theme of the Thematic Audience Contest 2023 will “Women and the right to land. Towards equity in the guarantee of rights”. The registration deadline is Monday, August 21.
The Human Rights Area of the Universidad Nacional de Rosario invites undergraduate students to form the UNR Team to participate in the fourth edition of the Thematic Hearing Competition before the IACHR-OAS.
This initiative of the International Center for the Promotion of Human Rights (CIPDH-UNESCO) and the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR-OAS) consists of simulation exercises that will recreate the thematic hearings before the IACHR. The objective is for students to deepen their study of the reality of the American region regarding Human Rights and international protection systems.

They must enter their personal data and attach:
1. Short CV (maximum 2 pages).
2. Short video where they introduce themselves and explain the reasons for joining the Team of the Universidad Nacional de Rosario and participate in the Contest. They must upload the video to the Youtube / Vimeo platform with Hidden Visibility format (anyone with the link can access) and insert the link.
(MAXIMUM 2 minutes).
The registration deadline to be part of the UNR team in the Contest is Monday, August 21 at 23:59 p.m.. The evaluation of the profiles will be carried out by an Evaluation Committee made up of authorities from the Human Rights Area and from the Human Rights Academic Council of the UNR.
A team of 4 regular people and 4 alternate people will be formed to represent the UNR. This team will be presented to the CIPDH-UNESCO, which will select up to a maximum of 24 (twenty-four) teams from the region. If the team is selected, they will begin a training process and a series of meetings to prepare for the Contest. It will take place between November 13 and 17, in virtual mode and in Spanish.
