The Magazine of the School of Anthropology of the Faculty of Humanities and Arts UNR; calls for the submission of contributions for the Dossier: Anthropological Theories: reflections, contributions and debates.
Coordination: Susana Margulies (UBA), Juan Mauricio Renold (UNR) and Gloria Beatriz Rodríguez (UNR).
The objective of this call is to gather articles that contribute reflections, new perspectives and debates related to classical and contemporary anthropological theories.
Original contributions are expected around the following axes:
-The centrality of the classics in the field of anthropology.
-The affiliations and conceptual links between the development of anthropological theories, social theory and philosophy.
-The classic anthropological theories visited from the current problems. The “living tradition”.
-The revitalization of anthropological theories in the light of field experiences.
-The relationship between theoretical development and production contexts. History of anthropology, Anthropology in History and "historicized appropriation" of concepts and categories.
-The study of “own anthropologies”, “Latin American anthropologies”, “anthropologies of the South”. Theory of "cultural control" in the process of theoretical construction.
-The teaching of anthropological theory at the university: critical approach to problems, concepts and methods.
