The UNR calls on teachers to strengthen the University Program for Older Adults 2026

La Universidad Nacional de Rosario It opened a call for proposals for courses aimed at the University Program for Older Adults, with the goal of expanding and strengthening its academic offering for the 2026 cycle.

Academic excellence and educational inclusion

This initiative seeks to promote academic and professional excellence in the courses offered, through a system that prioritizes transparency, organization, and the constant evaluation of the skills of the training teachers.

The Program aims to encourage innovation in training proposals, ensuring that they respond to the specific needs of older people and reaffirming the UNR's commitment to inclusive and quality education for all sectors of the population.

Characteristics of the call

The purpose of this call is to expand the program and maintain an updated registry of UNR teachers interested in participating in the academic offerings.

Regular courses will be offered on a trimester basis (twelve two-hour lectures) or a year basis (twenty-four two-hour lectures). Start dates are planned for mid-March and August respectively, although these may be subject to change.

Requirements and submission method

Interested teachers should complete a form with:

  • Detailed information on the proposed courses
  • Endorsement from the academic unit of belonging
  • Abbreviated curriculum vitae
  • Documentation required for the settlement of fees

The deadline for submitting proposals is Friday, February 6, 2026.

Evaluation process

To ensure a transparent and equitable process, the evaluation and selection of proposals will be carried out by an academic committee made up of peers and members of the University Program for Older Adults.
