CAPES will award 500 master's and 300 doctoral scholarships for students from Latin America and the Caribbean.

From July 22 to August 8, the call to participate in the event is open. Move America Program of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), Brazil.

With Move America, CAPES seeks to internationalize Brazilian postgraduate studies by attracting researchers from other countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. The program will award up to 500 master's sandwich scholarships, lasting two to three months, and 300 doctoral sandwich scholarships, lasting two to six months.

The application must be submitted by foreign students through the CAPES Registration System (Sicapes). Three selection rounds will be held by IES: from August 15 to 22, from August 29 to September 5 and from September 12 to 19. The deans of each institution will make the approvals from September 26 to October 3. The results will be known starting October 8.

Subsequently, the technical analysis will be carried out until November 7, followed by the preliminary results, starting on the 8th. Candidates will have ten days to appeal. The final launch will be from November 26. The start of activities is planned for the first half of 2025.
