Projects will be encouraged to be interdisciplinary and intersectoral in nature.

La Universidad Nacional de Rosario launches its 14th call for extension projects. Interested parties can register at convocations-extension.unr.edu.ar until May 7.

Calls for university outreach projects are an institutionalized tool within the Outreach and Territory Area, contributing to building greater inclusion and social commitment at UNR with the community, addressing social issues and promoting community development through concrete action policies.

To this end, the creation of projects is being promoted to develop various proposals for collective action and bring future professionals closer to society's problems. This call will aim to curricularize experiences of collaboration with various social actors, promoting university outreach projects within the framework of Educational Social Practices.

In 2021, the UNR established the inclusion of Educational Social Practices (ESP) in undergraduate and graduate programs at all its academic units. ESPs are understood as a pedagogical instance of situated learning and constitute a mandatory requirement for obtaining a degree in all curricula reformed thereafter. This represents a significant milestone in the curricularization of practices that integrate the University's substantive functions: teaching, outreach, and research.

Projects will be encouraged to be interfaculty-based, interdisciplinary, and intersectoral in nature. These projects may have a maximum duration of twelve (12) months and a minimum duration of six (6) months. Execution and planning must be planned between June 2025 and June 2026.

Only one submission (project) per director, co-director and/or executing team will be accepted under this call. Up to $300.000 will be financed per project, guaranteeing coverage of fifty-four (54) projects, making an investment amount of $27.000.000.

Funding will be awarded based on the Order of Merit obtained in the evaluation by Academic Unit and Middle School. That is, the four highest-rated projects from each Academic Unit and one from each middle school will be selected.

In addition, a support fund for projects (totaling $10.800.000) will be launched to strengthen and enhance the initiatives underway. This fund will be managed by the UNR Extension and Territory Area, enabling the implementation of rigorous systematization processes to document, analyze, and structure the experiences and results obtained. As a result of this work, publications, audiovisual materials, teaching resources, and other dissemination and teaching media will be generated, contributing to improving academic quality, increasing institutional visibility, and consolidating good practices.

The Evaluation will consist of a (virtual) interview between the Evaluation Committee and the project work team (director, co-director, students, non-teaching staff, counterpart members, etc.).

The Evaluation Committee will be made up of three evaluators and a student supervisor: two external evaluators (from other universities) and one internal evaluator from the UNR Extension Evaluators Bank.
