The UNR Academic Data Repository team participated in the XIII BIREDIAL-ISTEC International Conference, on Digital Libraries and Repositories in Latin America.

The RDA-UNR Academic Data Repository team dataverse.unr.edu.ar, participated, representing the Universidad Nacional de Rosario, XIII BIREDIAL-ISTEC International Conference, on Digital Libraries and Repositories in Latin America.

It took place from October 22 to 24, 2024 in Santiago de Chile, in person, organized by the University of Chile. Together with colleagues from Chile, Mexico, Costa Rica, Colombia, Brazil, Uruguay, Peru, the United States, Ecuador, Panama and Argentina.

This year, the focus was on the synergy between technology and academia to learn about regional advances in the application of Artificial Intelligence in different processes related to Open Science.

They presented the Poster “Impact of the use of social networks to communicate from the RDA-UNR Academic Data Repository” and they gave the Workshop “Construction of the dataset. The process of curation and dissemination of data in the RDA-UNR Academic Data Repository”. They also participated in the Regional Workshop on Open Infrastructures – 1st block: “Dataverse and open data”, 2nd block: “DSpace and the construction of institutional repositories”, 3rd block: “OJS and open access academic publications.”

The experience contributed to collaborative work between different institutions that strive to make science increasingly open.
