Emprende U 2025, Argentina's largest competition, is open for registration until May 31 and offers valuable prizes.
The competition has been encouraging thousands of students to create, innovate, and undertake without limits for 11 years. This year, it expands its impact: it becomes a federal competition, reaching Mendoza, Córdoba, Santa Fe, Chaco, and Corrientes, thanks to an unprecedented partnership between national universities and provincial governments. Organized by the National University of Cuyo through its Business Incubator, this event aims to foster creativity and the entrepreneurial spirit of new generations and awards up to 10 million pesos in prizes.
Following the success of the 2024 edition, which included the participation of students from Mendoza and Córdoba, this year the competition expands its scope by also incorporating new universities: the Universidad Nacional del Litoral, the Universidad Nacional de Rosario and the National University of the Northeast. This way, students from several provinces will be able to participate in this unique experience of training, mentoring, and support in their first steps in entrepreneurship.
The competition is aimed at students between 16 and 25 years old and includes two categories: secondary school and university students.. Throughout the competition, participating teams will have access to virtual training, personalized mentoring, and support from leaders in the national entrepreneurial ecosystem.
“The main objective of this competition, one of the largest in the country, is to raise awareness and promote entrepreneurship in young people, to generate the seed of being an entrepreneur,” says Adriana Racca, from the Directorate of Development and Technical Assistance for Entrepreneurs and SMEs of the UNR, who celebrated that this year it is launched federally and includes five universities, among them the Universidad Nacional de Rosario.
