This week the teaching of classes for the courses of the Open University Program for Older Adults of the Universidad Nacional de Rosario at the Headquarters at 784 Sarmiento Street.
The 2023 academic offer is made up of 60 courses on various topics ranging from archeology to health and financial tools, for which more than 4000 registrations were registered.
“This week we start with the courses, there is a proposal of 60 courses: history, art, literature, philosophy, the offer is quite varied. More or less 2100 different people registered in an average of 2 or 3 courses per person, so these are very encouraging numbers. The Sarmiento street building is full and we also have some classes that are taught in Arteón and in the Faculty of Humanities and Arts”, commented Daniela Ascolani, in charge of one of the ProUAPAM spaces.
The Program has extensions in the towns of San Lorenzo and Firmat where more than 500 enrollees were registered.


As a novelty, this cycle also incorporates training courses in the management of ICTs (cell phones and PCs) with the aim of integrating the elderly into the universe of information and communication technologies, in order to achieve the appropriation of digital tools.
On May 29, the courses of ProUAPAM Digital which are intended for the management of PCs and cell phones and in the month of August registration for the courses of the second quarter will begin. It should be noted that no previous knowledge is required and the only registration requirement is to be over 50 years of age.
