Collation Second Cohort Diploma in Forensic Economic Analysis

On Saturday, April 27 at 11 a.m., the graduation of the students of the Second Cohort of the Diploma that is part of the Interdisciplinary Studies Program on Prevention and Prosecution of Crime was held in the Fontanarrosa Hall of the Faculty of Law. Economic (ECOCRIM) of the Universidad Nacional de Rosario.
Authorities from the UNR (Darío Maiorana, Javier Ganem and Hernán Botta, Marina Marsili), the MPA (Juan Andrés Sanchez, Regional Secretary), the Ministry of Security and Justice (Omar Pereyra, Secretary of Public Security; Subsec.) participated in the event. Florencia Blotta; Director Natalia Corona; Natalio Marciani, Chief of Police PDI Rosario); of the UIF (Juan Francisco Lafontana).
The same -product of an agreement entered into between the MPA; Ministry of Security and Justice of the province of Santa Fe and the CEI-UNR - combines multidisciplinary approaches and practical applications of the law to address economic crime and aims to provide high-level technical training for the development of capacities of the members of the different Public Agencies involved in confronting economic crime.
The central objective of the study program was to develop these skills by addressing different subjects related to the field of economic and legal sciences.
From the first opportunity in which we began to develop this idea, we did so with the intimate conviction that economic crime constitutes a problem of significant social relevance.
And much of the current criminal activity, which is harmful and shocks society, recognizes links with various forms of economic crime: money laundering, massive fraud, tax evasion, corruption of officials, corporate fraud, cybercrime, smuggling, extortion and trafficking of prohibited substances, among others.
And we are also convinced that the proliferation of various forms of economic crime has a direct impact on the growth of problems such as the unequal distribution of access to goods and services, increased poverty, and deepening conflicts that generate violence and damage the environment. and therefore affect the central aspects of democratic coexistence.
This program - and the Diploma in particular - once again reflect the commitment of the Public University to society and democracy.
