Unicanal's "Ciencia Bruta" series returns with interviews with leading experts. Artificial intelligence, nutrition, immunology, and gestational health are some of the topics covered in the new episodes.
The Unicanal audiovisual content platform of the Universidad Nacional de Rosario The National University of Rosario (UNR) has renewed its commitment to science outreach with the launch of the new season of Ciencia Bruta (Raw Science). The series once again brings together leading figures from diverse disciplines to translate complex concepts into clear, accessible language and engage the public on issues shaping the current agenda.
Among the figures featured in this episode is Lucas Uzal, a physicist, researcher, and technology entrepreneur specializing in artificial intelligence and machine learning. In his episode, he analyzes the present and future of AI, its impact on daily life, and the ethical and technological challenges posed by its rapid advancement.
Mindful eating also has its place thanks to Rocío Hernández (a nutritionist, social psychologist and popularizer from Rosario known on social media as Nutriloca), who debunks myths and truths about current nutrition.
For his part, Dr. Andrés Alloatti, a PhD in Biological Sciences, delves into the functioning of the immune system, the most recent discoveries in scientific research, and its relevance to understanding various diseases.
The proposal is complemented by the participation of Gabriela Mandato, a medical specialist in gynecology and obstetrics, who addresses from a comprehensive perspective the hormonal and physiological changes that the body experiences during pregnancy, providing key tools to understand gestational health.
Where and when to watch the new episodes
The new episodes are available on both the Unicanal platform ( UNICANAL ROSARIO ) and YouTube ( Unicanal Rosario – YouTube ), with a new episode premiering every Wednesday. Starting in August, the series will also be available to watch on Mondays at 22 PM on the RTS channel and listen to on Radio Universidad.
