The Teaching Career pursues the development and academic excellence of the teaching staff included in the UNR, through a periodic evaluation mechanism aimed at permanence in their positions and continuous improvement in their functions.

The Teaching Career regime contemplates rights and obligations compatible with the postulates of a democratic, inclusive and reformist University. It covers teachers who have the status of ordinary teachers, considering as such those who gained access through a public competition of background and opposition and those who joined by virtue of the mechanism provided for by the Universidad Nacional de Rosario within the framework of the Collective Labor Agreement for teachers of National University Institutions.

Schools

The regulation is contemplated in the Ordinance No. 744 of Evaluation of the Teaching Career (approved on 19/12/19 by the Superior Council).

Middle Schools

In December 2022, the Higher Council of the University approved, through Ordinance No. 765, the Regulations for the Evaluation of the Teaching Career in the Pre-University Establishments of the UNR.

Within the framework of article 32 of Ordinance No. 765, the University assumes the commitment to guarantee pedagogical, disciplinary training and continuous updating to UNR teachers; and based on this, the “Secondary and Higher Technical Level Teaching Training and Update Program” approved by Rector Resolution No. 2511-2024
It includes a total of 20 free training sessions, spread throughout the year, under different modalities and addressing current and relevant thematic axes linked to teaching in our middle schools.

Single List of Evaluators

Within the framework of the 2025 Call for Applications, the Single List of Evaluators provided for in Article 48 of Ordinance No. 744 has been approved for the evaluation of Full Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, Heads of Practical Work and First Category Assistants of the Universidad Nacional de Rosario, by Resolution 978/2025 CS, which is available on the website.
