This course will be an introduction to the design and implementation, at the prototype level, of microcontroller-based products, with an emphasis on their programming. It will also cover the range of associated devices (peripherals) for implementing simple yet practical applications. This knowledge will enhance your qualifications when applying for jobs in companies related to these topics.

If you are a graduate of this course you will:

  • Learn about the particularities of the Arduino system development environment related to its editing, compilation and debugging.
  • Knowing how to upload the application to the microcontroller-based system, for verification of its correct operation.
  • Experiment with verbal presentation, for the socialization of the experiences addressed.

You will be able to develop in:

  • Resolution in simple application software
  • Fundamental aspects of the programming language.
  • Criteria on good programming practices.
  • To sign up:
    • Students from Technical Schools who have passed the fifth year.
    • Interested parties without a secondary school diploma, after passing a diagnostic assessment.
    • Design, maintenance or support staff of companies that develop products based on this technology.
  • An objective diagnostic assessment will be administered at the beginning of the course, covering: fundamentals of electricity (potential difference, electric current intensity, and electrical resistance; direct and alternating current); basic electronic devices (diode, transistor); power supplies; basic electrical and electronic circuits; components (resistors, capacitors, potentiometers); analog and digital quantities; and basic logic operators. Those who do not pass this diagnostic assessment will receive remedial instruction.
  • Condition for approval:
    • Attendance and approved work.

What objectives does the course have?

  • The objective of this basic level course is to offer students general and specific criteria for software products supported by microcontrollers in the Arduino ecosystem, in order to carry out the development of applications for simple but real-world cases.

IMPORTANT: Only one course registration per person is allowed.
