FOUNDATION
The online Master's program in Cultural Studies offers postgraduate training for a critical approach to cultural issues from an interdisciplinary perspective, articulated around the following thematic axes: social representations of memory, gender, multiple identities, border citizenships, the grammars of social movements, the complexity of mediatization, the reconfiguration of urban landscapes, the performative aestheticization of the political, and the debate on the status of modernity, including emotional capitalism, cognitive capitalism, and semiocapitalism. In this way, the program fosters deeper dialogue between different fields of knowledge to elucidate the current complexity of cultural phenomena and contribute to human and social development.

The virtual modality of this postgraduate program is framed within the potential of contemporary digital languages, as enablers of educational interactions at a distance, both locally, nationally and internationally.

The origins of the Master's Degree in Cultural Studies (in its face-to-face modality) date back to 2008, during which this interdisciplinary space was initiated to critically address the phenomena linked to the cultural issue, and in 2010 it was approved at the UNR by Resolution CS No. 4706/10.

DURATION
Extension: 2 years of virtual coursework plus thesis preparation with a maximum of 2 years for its presentation.
Days and times: Saturdays 10 am Argentina time.

Online modality  
The teaching of the course will be developed through the Moodle platform of the Virtual Campus of the UNR.
