Objectives:
The Master's Degree in Biosafety – Distance Learning Modality – aims to develop a postgraduate theoretical and methodological training process that provides university graduates with advanced knowledge in the field of Biosafety and a broad scientific culture; as well as a greater capacity for teaching, scientific and technological innovation activity in this discipline, all in accordance with the needs of the economic, social and environmental development of the countries of the region.
Duration and hourly load
The duration of the master's course will be two (2) academic years, and the deadline for the presentation of the thesis will be up to five (5) academic years and may not be less than three (3) unless the Academic Commission considers a shorter period justified.

The teaching of the course will be developed through the Moodle platform of the Virtual Campus of the UNR.
Destined to:
University graduates with degrees in Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Dentistry, Agricultural Engineering, Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Natural Resources, Food Technology, Nursing, and other related fields who demonstrate a curricular and/or academic background linked to the field of Biosafety. Graduates of legally recognized Argentine universities (national, provincial, or private) with degrees equivalent to those awarded by the Universidad Nacional de Rosario.
Graduates from foreign universities officially recognized by the competent authorities of their country, with degrees equivalent to those indicated in the previous paragraph, subject to prior certification by the respective academic unit, in accordance with the current regulations of both the Ministry of Education and the Universidad Nacional de RosarioNon-Spanish-speaking applicants must demonstrate, at the time of registration, an independent intermediate (B2) or higher level of Spanish proficiency according to the standards established by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. If admitted, they must demonstrate an advanced level of Spanish proficiency according to the same standards prior to submitting their final thesis. Applicants may demonstrate the required levels through the following international certifications: the University Diploma of Competence in Spanish as a Foreign Language (DUCLE) from the UNR, or other international certifications recognized by the International Certification System for Spanish as a Foreign Language (SICELE).
Those who hold non-university higher education degrees of at least four (4) years' duration—as stipulated by Article 39 bis of the Higher Education Law—and meet the prerequisites determined by the Academic Commission to verify that their training is compatible with the requirements of this program. In exceptional cases, applicants who do not meet the aforementioned requirements and who perform tasks in the public or private sectors related to the relevant issues may be considered for admission.
