Duration and workload:
The course lasts two years, divided into three (3) four-month periods of study and one (1) four-month period for the completion of the final integrative work.
The total workload is 440 hours.

Start of course: March 6th 2026
Registration closing: November 30th 2025

Online mode. The teaching of the course will be developed through the Moodle platform of the Virtual Campus of the UNR.

Social Work and Social Sciences professionals in general who have completed four-year or more courses in Argentina; and those who hold degrees in Social Work or Social Sciences issued by foreign universities that are legally recognized by the competent authorities in Argentina.

Objectives
The Specialization in Social Intervention course aims to ensure that future specialists achieve:

  • Update your theoretical knowledge and practical skills for the development of social intervention projects, taking into account the complex articulations between theoretical perspectives and contemporary intervention proposals.
  • Reflect on the processes of building professional knowledge and the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to support these processes.
  • Improve the mastery and construction of theoretical and methodological tools for the understanding and improvement of professional practice in the different areas of institutional insertion.
  • Critically analyze practices, models and proposals for social intervention.
