Postgraduate Course: “Innovation through Communication in Extension Work”

Foundation
Communication plays a central role in innovation processes, as it operates as an articulator of the social complexities in which the extension task is immersed. Many of the professionals linked to extension have not had the opportunity to address communication from their basic curricular training. As emerges from preliminary surveys with those interested in the subject, this lack appears in the labor field as a limitation.

In this context, this course proposes to articulate spaces for reflection around the topic, learn about and experience communication tools and analyze cases, with the aim of promoting capabilities that allow improving the work of supporting innovation processes.

The distance modality of the proposal facilitates the study of students from other regions of the country and of various nationalities, saving travel resources. Additionally, it will allow the use of the communication and information technology proposed in the dictation, to understand how virtuality becomes an element that enhances innovation processes, from communication, in extension work. “The classroom without walls” provides space-time flexibility in access to content, expands access to a diversity of resources in multiple formats and enhances interaction between course participants.
