Complementary Cycle “Audiovisual Communication”

Pre-registration for the Curriculum Completion Cycle for the Bachelor's Degree in Audiovisual Communication is open until December 3, 2025.

Academic unit of origin: Faculty of Political Science and International Relations.

Destined to: Graduates of tertiary institutes or university undergraduate courses, both public and private —with relevant ministerial recognition— who hold a tertiary, university technical or teaching degree in Audiovisual Communication, Audiovisual Direction, Audiovisual Production, Audiovisual Media or Audiovisual Arts.

Two and a half years or five four-month periods.
Adding a total of one thousand two hundred (1200) hours

Tuition: $ 70.000,00
First year Installment 1 (April 2025): $160.000,00

Installment 4 (November 2025): $160.000,00

Tariffs may be modified throughout 2025 depending on the dynamics of prices in the Argentine economy.

Online modality  
The teaching of the course will be developed through the Moodle platform of the Virtual Campus of the UNR.

Foundation
The Faculty of Political Science and International Relations of the Universidad Nacional de Rosario, through the School of Social Communication, has been closely linked to the training of communicators who, within the framework of the various professional skills offered by the degree, have practiced Audiovisual Communication and its teaching in different educational settings.

Aware that the University can provide graduates of tertiary institutes of Audiovisual Media with its experience in teaching, research and extension, the implementation of a Curricular Complementation Cycle is proposed for those who have graduated from non-university higher education institutes, universities and teacher training institutes throughout the country to continue their academic training in a distance learning modality, mediated by virtual environments and tools of a synchronous and asynchronous nature.

The main objective of this Curricular Complementation Cycle is to train professionals capable of integrating knowledge and transversal skills in the field of communication and social sciences, as well as to foster in students a critical attitude to research and produce high-quality content, within the framework of the current techno-communicational scenario.

The Bachelor's Degree in Audiovisual Communication aims to train highly qualified professionals committed to academic excellence, capable of working as audiovisual communicators in a critical and strategic manner in the complex scenario of post-media convergence. To achieve this, it focuses on creating a unit of study and research into the problems and needs that affect the field of audiovisual, multimedia and transmedia communication, which allow for the generation of knowledge and development strategies.
