The "8th Congress of Graduates and Students of Technical and Bachelor's Degrees in University Management", was held from October 25 to 27, 2022.

The "8th Congress of Graduates and Students of Technical and Bachelor's Degrees in University Management" was held, with the motto "Non-teaching Training as a flag", from October 25 to 27, organized by the Argentine Federation of Workers of National Universities (FATUN), in the town of Villa Giardino, Córdoba, with the participation of fifty-seven Non-teaching Unions and the assistance of two hundred and fifty non-teaching colleagues from all over the country.

Representing Rosario were the LGU Teaching Fellows and Technicians in University Management and Students Fernando Gabriel Zotto of the Faculty of Cs. Exactas, Engineering and Surveying, Marcia Beatriz Brettin from the Faculty of Dentistry, Nadia Valeria Dominguez from the Faculty of Architecture, Planning and Design, Javier Andrés Acuña from the Faculty of Cs. Economics and Statistics, and Carlos Daniel Cuenca from the Faculty of Medical Sciences. The Secretary of the Social and Union Action Area of ​​the UNR, Dr. Liliana Conforti, attended as responsible for the Delegation and the delivery of the course at the UNR. She also announced that the Rector of the UNR, Mr. Franco Bartolacci, gave for the first time to a non-teaching colleague, Miguel Ángel Roldán, the “Trejo Key” Distinction that Universidad Nacional de Rosario grants. He also described the articulations that are carried out between the Social and Union Action Area and the Training Center in his charge with APUR and its Labor Specialization Center.

In addition, the APUR delegation presented several proposals in Congress:

PROPOSAL I: Analysis of the results obtained through the Higher Education Cycle Survey for Non-teachers. Report 2022, carried out jointly by the Training Center of the Social and Union Action Area and the Statistics Office of the UNR.

PROPOSAL II: Preliminary Project for the Master's Degree in University Management.

PROPOSAL III: Training of Virtual Tutors.

PROPOSAL IV: Presentation of works carried out by graduates, uploaded to the Repository for No-teachers-graduates-Secretary of Social and Union Action.

The Congress had different tables where the general secretary of FATUN, Cro. Walter Merkis, the training secretary, Cro. Daniel Villa and members of the Executive Board, secretaries of the different Associations.

Authorities from the Ministry of Education, National Universities and the National Inter-University Council (CIN) also attended.

Finally, in Congress the signing of an agreement was carried out by which non-teaching colleagues will be able to take the MASTER'S DEGREE IN UNIVERSITY GOVERNMENT AND MANAGEMENT. This postgraduate course - which will have a diploma, specialization and master's degree - will be studied at a distance and will be taught by the University of Southern Patagonia and by the University of the Center of the Province of Buenos Aires.
