Alvaro Garcia Linera
Álvaro García Linera was Vice President of Bolivia during Evo Morales's presidency from 2006 to 2019. He was part of one of the most transformative political projects on the continent, characterized by an economic boom in which vast majorities, primarily Indigenous people, were included for the first time in a democratic political and social model. His career as a researcher and professor began at the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés.
