Ricardo Antunes

Ricardo Antunes is a Brazilian sociologist recognized for his outstanding academic career, his commitment to critical thinking, and his contributions to the analysis of the world of work. On Tuesday, June 10, 2025, he was honored with the title of Doctor Honoris Causa at a ceremony held at the Faculty of Humanities and Arts. The ceremony was led by the Vice Dean of Humanities, María Cristina Perez, and the Secretary of the Academic and Learning Area, Romina Pérez, in charge of the laudatio. The prestigious Brazilian intellectual expressed his gratitude: "I can tell you with great emotion that from now on I will say, as I always say: I have been a professor at UNICAMP for 40 years. But I am also a professor, Doctor Honoris Causa from today at the Universidad Nacional de Rosario”. He presented his master class: “The Privilege of Servitude,” a critical analysis of work in the digital age.
